Through his academic research and teaching, Russ explores technology, learning, social impact, and the strategy and entrepreneurship contexts in which these streams intersect.
As a professional speaker and executive coach, Russ works with leaders and teams on leadership, innovation strategy, marketing and communication. His public speaking coaching helps leaders learn to deliver stand-out presentations.
Russ is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Oklahoma. He completed a PhD in Entrepreneurship and an MDiv from Baylor University. He received an International MBA from IE Business School in Madrid as a Fulbright Scholar. Russ has extensive industry experience as a marketing leader in healthcare IT with GE, in medical devices with St. Jude Medical (now Abbott), and with an international healthcare non-profit.
